PM Agriculture Training Program 2025 in China (Fully Funded)

Application call for the PM Agriculture Training Program 2025 in China – A fully funded program by the government of Pakistan to train 1000 young agriculture graduates in China. 

The Ministry of National Food Security & Research is inviting applications from young agricultural graduates to participate in the Fully Funded training program and have an opportunity to witness cutting-edge agriculture practices.

The training will be implemented in three phases, Batch 1, Batch 2 & Batch 3. Currently, the applications are open for batch 3, and very limited seats are available therefore we encourage all interested candidates to apply as soon as possible. The duration of the training program is 3-4 months during which you will gain valuable skills and expertise in your preferred area of focus. The Prime Minister of Pakistan on his visit to China explored various agricultural institutes and witnessed cutting-edge agriculture research. To benefit the nationals of Pakistan from China’s experience he launched a training program that will train 1000 young agricultural graduates in China. Training Areas

The Agriculture training program is offered in a wide range of areas focussing on:

  1. Fruit & Vegetable processing
  2. Livestock breeding and genomics
  3. High Efficiency irrigation system
  4. Livestock disease surveillance
  5. High-level technology drones, the Internet of Things, AI
  6. Seed production and processing technologies
  7. Crop breeding and genomics
  8. Shrimp production and processing

Eligibility Criteria

All interested applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the program:

  • The agriculture youth training program is open to all nationals of Pakistan
  • Agricultural graduates holding a degree in the specified priority areas
  • Applicants have secured a minimum 3.00 CGPA in (BS, BSc (Hons)
  • Applicants with higher degrees such as MS/MPhil and PhD will be preferred
  • Have at least 2 years of post-degree relevant experience
  • Have expertise in  MS Word, Power, and Excel
  • Applicant must be less than 35 years of age at closing date of application

Training Status

  • Batch 1: Trainees ready to depart in April
  • Batch 2: Shortlisting of applicants in progress
  • Batch 3: Accepting applications, limited seats available

Applicants who are fulfilling the above criteria need to apply online through the official portal. The online application will remain active till 5th April 2025 (12:00 Midnight)

Important:

  • Candidates selected for the program need to provide attested HEC copies of degrees/transcripts.
  • Sign a bond to return to home county after completion of training
  • Individuals working in the public sector may apply through the proper channel
  • Previously applied candidates can still apply
  • A passport must be valid for at least one year
