It’s an immersive, year-long, paid volunteer programme with visa sponsorship organized by the Scout Association through Scout Adventures, which combines adventure, leadership, outdoor activities, and personal development. The volunteer programme welcomes applications from passionate leaders from the UK, Europe, and all across the world to develop resilience, skills, and confidence.
Foreign nationals will receive a stipend of £45, and UK nationals will receive £35. Moreover, volunteers will also receive food, accommodation, and a uniform. About Scout Adventure Volunteer Programme
The volunteer program is an initiative of the Scout Association that offers young, passionate leaders from across the world the opportunity to engage in outdoor learning experiences and adventure activities. The program aims to develop young leaders and equip them with leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through practical training. This is not a traditional volunteer program; it offers incredible opportunities for participants to receive full training and master skills in customer service, retail, catering, hospitality, event planning, and more.

Residential Volunteer Programme: This volunteer route is designed for young leaders from Europe, the UK, and around the world. The selected participants will live on-site and become a part of the adventure team community, and will support the outdoor programme activities throughout their placement
UK Volunteer Trainee Instructor Programme: This route is designed for the residents of the United Kingdom. The participants will receive structured training to become an activity instructor and support the adventure activities
Who can Apply?
To be eligible for the Scout Adventure Volunteer program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Accepting applications from both UK and foreign nationals

- Must be willing to work in a challenging outdoor environment
- Applicants must be 18 years or older
