Yes, you heard it right! Seoul National University, South Korea is inviting applications from excellent foreign students to participate in the Seoul National University GSFS Scholarship 2025 (Spring Intake). This a great opportunity for international students who want to pursue their Graduate degree programs Masters, PhD, or Combined Master’s from one of the top-ranked institutes in South Korea.
The GSFS-SNU Scholarship is offered in a wide range of fields covering Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, Social Science, Pharmacy and much more later we will discuss them in detail. The scholarship provides a full tuition waiver for 4 months and a monthly stipend for a specified duration to the selected participants.
International students who are interested in this scholarship must apply for University admission and GSFS scholarship concurrently to be eligible for the scholarship you need to receive an offer letter letter from designated colleges or schools within SNU.

Who can Apply?
To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- All international applicants not holding a Korean nationality can apply
- Applicants who have secured all educational degrees from outside Korea.
- Applicants must hold an appropriate academic degree from a recognized institute
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from Masters or combined master’s & doctoral programs.
- A master’s degree or PhD program.
- Preference would be given to the applicants belonging to developing countries.
Scholarship Coverage:
The scholarship provides the following coverage to the selected participants:
Monthly Stipend:
- A stipend of KRW 500,000 for 1 year for Master’s degree students
- A stipend of KRW 500,000 for 2 years for PhD degree students
*Note: The duration or amount of the stipend may vary
Tuition Fee
- The scholars will receive a full tuition waiver for 2 academic years.
*Note: Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 throughout to sustain the scholarship.
