Eligibility Criteria:
- All international students with complete graduation can apply for research and academic growth.
- SINGA is mainly designed for foreign students who are coming to study in Singapore for the first time. Eligibility excludes Singaporeans, Singapore Permanent Residents, and foreign students enrolled in or formerly enrolled in Singaporean postsecondary institutions.
- Students with excellent written and verbal English language skills are necessary.
- You should have a good academic history throughout.
- A*STAR may incorporate supplementary selection criteria in accordance with current scholarship standards. These guidelines could change at any time and without prior warning.
SINGA Award Perks & Benefits:
- Tuition fees are covered for successful candidates.
- A monthly stipend will be S$2,700, which will be up to S$3,200 after qualifying for the examination.
- Airfare (one time) S$3,200
- Settling-in allowance (one time) of S$1,000
- Food allowance is covered:
- Campus canteens: S$250-3-00
- Outside campus: S$450-600
- Accommodation is financed which is S$400-700
- Transportation Expense is also provided for S$100-150
- Other expenses may include S$400-500 for stationary, laundry, toiletries, etc.

SINGA Graduate Award Application Process:
- The applications need to be submitted online.
- Look through the PhD Research Projects.
- To view the projects that interest you, go to Research Areas.
- Before applying, please ensure that the following documents are ready.
Note: Documents in hard copy should not be mailed to the SINGA office. The required paperwork must be filed online.

- Every transcript must be translated into English.
