You heard it right, Applications are open for the 17th South China Sea International Conference, scheduled to take place in Da Nang, Vietnam, from November 3-4, 2025. A fully funded young leaders conference hosted by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) aims to empower the next generation of future leaders by equipping them with valuable skills and knowledge to tackle complex and multifaceted issues related to the South China Sea. The young leaders programme serves as a unique platform where young leaders from all around the world will gather, share their ideas, build valuable connections, gain valuable insights from leading experts, and shape the future of the South China Sea.
A tailored program that offers dynamic youth-centered activities exclusively designed to cultivate young leaders to amplify their voices on pressing regional challenges. The activities include participation in live stream youth commentary, Discussion night with DAV outstanding students, A dedicated session “Youth Power: Overcoming Ambiguity, Strengthening Unit” in which selected participants will have an opportunity to present their research on the South China Sea under the supervision of senior researchers.
The South China Sea International Conference is seeking applications from young intellectuals aged between 20-35 years with a background in international relations, international law, political science, social science, or related fields to apply and witness the world’s most prestigious conference in the South China Sea. - Accepting applications from all nationals
- Individuals aged between 20-35 years old are invited to apply
- Must have excellent English communication skills
- Applicants with a background in International Relations, International Law, Political Science, and other social sciences-related fields are encouraged to apply.
