Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange has announced Stefan Banach Scholarship Program 2024. The Polish government offers scholarships to students from developing countries to pursue second-degree studies.
The Lukasiewicz Scholarship and Banach Scholarship are now merged into one Stefan Banach Nawa Scholarship Programme. A wide range of academic fields and majors are available to pursue your Master’s degree studies in Poland. The application process for the Banach scholarship is online, students belonging to developing countries who are fulfilling the required criteria are encouraged to apply before 21st June 2024.
All the degree programs available in this scholarship program will be completely taught in the English language. The scholarship provides full financial support that includes a Monthly Stipend, Relocation support, Full Tuition fee, and other related expenses. Stefan Banach Scholarship Coverage
- Tuition Fees: The scholarship covers full tuition fees
- Stipend: A monthly stipend of PLN 1,700 for the duration of the scholarship
- Relocation Cost: An amount of PLN 500 to cover the relocation cost
- Drafting & Dissertation: An amount of PLN 500 is offered
Who can Apply?
To be eligible for the Poland Banach scholarship you need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Students from developing countries are only eligible to apply
- Polish nationals cannot apply for the scholarship
- Applicants who have secured undergraduate degrees can apply
- Applicants must not possess any other scholarship
- Expertise in the English language at least (B2 Level)

Nationals of the following developing countries can participate in this scholarship program:
India, Indonesia, Peru, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Colombia, the Philippines, Lebanon, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Palestine, Senegal, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Kenya, Kosovo, Albania, Angola, Argentina, Iraq, Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
Further: Nationals of Albania, Moldova, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia can apply for the master’s degree in the fields of Humanities and social sciences.

How to Apply?
Interested applicants fulfilling the required criteria of the Polish Government scholarship need to submit an online application through the official online portal. Once you submit the application you will receive a confirmation email with a confirmation number.
Note: You can submit the application in Polish or English language.
