Young professionals seeking international fellowships, one of Taiwan’s most anticipated fellowship programs, are now accepting applications! The Taiwan Alliance in International Development (Taiwan AID) has announced the call for applications for its flagship “Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship 2026”. A fully funded fellowship program in Taiwan, organized by Taiwan AID, seeks applications from young NGO professionals from Southeast Asia, South Asia, North East Asia, and the Pacific Islands who are passionate about making an impact in their communities and beyond.
It’s a 4-week intensive fellowship program that will run from October 4 to November 1, 2026, in Taipei, Taiwan. The fellowship allows young professionals from eligible regions to work with a Taiwanese NGO in areas relevant to their professional fields. Participants will gain hands-on experience in their desired domains while working on high-impact projects under the guidance of experts in their fields. The Taiwanese NGO also offers a blend of experiences through intensive workshops, civil society site visits, and roundtable events. No application fee is required. Taiwan NGO Fellowship Coverage
The Taiwan Aid fellows will recieve comprehensive support, which includes:
- International round-trip airfare coverage to/from Taiwan
- Shared Accommodation for the fellowship duration
- Meals
- Domestic travel costs
Who can Apply?
To be eligible for the Taiwan Aid fellowship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Young professionals from eligible countries can apply
- Fellowship is intended for NGO professionals working in the areas of Environment, Education, Women’s Rights, Children, Disability Inclusion, Emergency Relief, Community Development, Family Welfare, Social Innovation, and Entrepreneurship
- Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in an NGO
- Demonstrate leadership potential and professional excellence
- Passionate about working in the Taiwance NGO and completing an independent fellowship
- Applicants aged between 25 and 40 years can apply
- Profiency in the English language
