Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Programme 2026-27 (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Programme for the academic year 2026-2027. The International Cooperation & Development Fund, through its official portal, has announced its flagship program and is seeking applications from high-achieving students from Taiwan’s partner countries. A fully funded scholarship in Taiwan offered by the International Higher Education Scholarship program, under TaiwanICDF, provides an incredible opportunity for outstanding students to pursue Undergraduate, Masters and PhD degree programs at one of the participating higher education institutions in Taiwan.

Currently, multiple leading Taiwan Institutions are participating in this scholarship scheme and offering 32 specialized tracks, all taught in the English language, making it more feasible for international students to participate. The degree programs are available in a wide range of academic fields and majors focusing on Engineering and technology, Agriculture, Sustainable development, Public health and Medicne, Business Administration, and more.

The objective of the ICDF scholarship program is to promote internationalization of Taiwanese institutions and to cultivate talented individuals from partner countries who can meaningfully contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of their home countries. Degree Duration

The scholarship is offered for the following duration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: 4 Years
  • Master’s Degree: 1-2 Years
  • PhD Degree: Up to 4 years

ICDF Scholarship Coverage

The scholarship offers comprehensive support to selected students for the duration of the degree program. The coverage includes

  • Full Tuition Fee Waiver
  • Registration Fee waiver
  • A comprehensive monthly allowance to cover living expenses
  • Round-trip economy class flight tickets to/from Taiwan
  • Comprehensive health coverage
  • On-Campus Accommodation
  • Stationary and textbook allowance

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationals of Taiwan and partner countries are invited to apply
  • Taiwan nationals are not eligible to apply
  • Must meet the admission requirements of the partner host institute
  • Must hold a high school diploma for a bachelor’s degree
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree for a master’s program
  • Hold a Master’s degree for a PhD degree program
  • Proof of English Proficiency / exempted for those who have graduated from English-taught institutes
  • Must meet the health standards to attend the programme
  • Applicants must not have secured any other scholarship

How to Apply for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship 2026?

Individuals interested in the scholarship and meeting the required criteria need to submit their applications online via the “TaiwanICDG Online Application System”, complete the application form, and click “Finish & Print” to download the application. The application, along with the supporting documents, must be submitted to the nearest Taiwan Embassy or representative office.

Applicants are also required to apply separately for the chosen program at one of the participating Taiwanese institutions.
