International students from all around the world who want to join the leading research labs of UC San Diego and work on the cutting-edge research alongside the renowned faculty members are invited to submit their applications. In addition to gaining valuable research experience, the summer students will experience cultural, academic, and professional enrichment activities. After the completion of the summer program, all the participants will present their research at the ISRP research symposium. There is no application fee requirement for the program. Program Cost

The total cost of the summer ISRP research program is $5,500 that covers:

  • Visa documentation processing fee
  • On campus accommodation
  • Fees for the activities
  • Lab fees

  • Visa appointment fees
  • Airfare travel tickets
  • Personal expenses and meals

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the summer program in the USA, you must meet the following criteria:

  • The summer program is open to all international students
  • Students pursuing their degrees in any academic discipline from partner universities.
  • Students must be available for the entire duration of the program
  • Applicants must be nominated by the home universities.

  3. Complete the application by providing answers to all questions
  4. Your answer will help faculty members determine whether you are fit for the program
  5. Make sure to submit the application before 31st March 2025
