Students, graduates, and young professionals, do you want an immersive experience in Switzerland through a fully funded professional development program? If so, Applications are open for the UN Chemicals and Waste Management Program 2026. A fully funded professional development program, organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in collaboration with the Chemicals and Waste Youth Platform (CWP), is scheduled in Geneva, Switzerland, from November 9–13, 2026. The program offers up to 8 fully funded scholarships to youth, students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals aged 35 or younger from LMICs, LDCs, or Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Selected participants will take part in youth events and negotiations connected with the Global Framework on Chemicals First International Conference (GFC IC-1).

Who can Apply?
The study program is calling for applications from applicants:
- Aged between 18 & 35 years old at the time of application.
- Belonging to a lower-middle-income country, Least Developed Countries, or a small island developing state (SIDS), or being a representative of Indigenous Peoples.

- Must commit to full participation in the program and related activities.
