UN Summit of Future 2024 at United Nation’s HQ, New York

Application call for the UN Summit of Future 2024! Imagine a big meeting where people from all around the world come together to make the future brighter! This meeting is called the Summit of the Future.

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is organizing a youth-led Summit, also known as the Summit of the Future, at its headquarters in New York. This four-day summit will bring together delegates from member nations, local and regional governments, civil society, human rights advocates, academics, youth-led organizations, and volunteers to discuss important global issues like as peace and security, climate change, and sustainable development.

Action Day 1 shall comprise talks and events aimed at amplifying the voice of the youth #youthled by the UN Youth office.

Action Day 2 will focus on partnerships among all the stakeholders and actions, addressing 3 main themes  “a peaceful future for all”, “a sustainable future for all”, “and a digital future for all”

The rest of the days shall cover offside and virtual events.

Additionally, the UN is setting up the stage where you can represent your work in the Summit 2024. Whether you are an organization or a team with a solution or an awareness campaign regarding any of the thematic areas mentioned above or related, feel free to register for off-side and virtual events by submitting your proposal to the UN before 19th August!

Participating in the Summit of the Future is a transformative venture, as ;

It promotes widespread involvement and collaboration among the UN and the rest of the world, increases support for improving protection for civilians in conflict zones, provides a platform for problem solvers, helps reform the UN charter, and provides a platform for open policy making, all of this contributes to a more effective and representative UN security council.

Eligibility Criteria:

The program is inviting applications from the:

  • Civil society representatives
  • NGOs
  • Business leaders
  • Academics and researchers
  • Media spokespersons
  • Youth-led organizations and volunteers.

Application Process:

Summit of the Future! Registration Details:

🌟 To join UNHQ, a UN Ground pass is mandatory.

🎟️ If you don’t have a UN Grounds Pass, you’ll need to request special event registration (private individuals must register for the summit through UN -recognized organization or entity)

👥 Organizations or enterprises can bring a maximum of 7 delegates.

🌈 Applicants participating in a side event there is no need to register separately.

👶  Participants aged under 18 must be registered and accompanied by a chaperone.

🔒 Applicants need to use their passport name for registration

✈️Participants are responsible for their travel and visa arrangements.
