Interns will be assigned to the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, where they will assist the team with various tasks.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates meeting the following criteria are invited to submit their applications:

UNOSD is inviting applications from all nationals
Students enrolled in or graduated from graduate school
Students enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate program
Bachelor’s students must be in the final year of their degree program
No prior work experience required
The field of students must be related to the position
Knowledge of software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent command of the English language
Applicants with research experience related to environmental issues will be preferred.

Intern Roles

The interns will perform the following duties
Conduct research and edit policy analysis and synthesis
Develop and maintain the Platform of UNOSD Data, news through social media
Draft and maintain communication materials for events
Assist in organizing annual activities such as forums, workshops, and trainings
Perform any other task assigned by the team lead
