Applications are now open for the WIPO Internship Program 2027, a fully funded internship in Geneva, Switzerland, organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
This prestigious internship offers an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates from around the world to gain hands-on experience in intellectual property by working on real-world projects at WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The internship duration ranges from 2 to 12 months. Selected interns will receive a wide range of benefits, including a monthly stipend of CHF 2,170, medical insurance, visa assistance, travel support, and more. Internship Categories
WIPO offers two internship participation categories:
Undergraduate Internship (Category I):
- Students enrolled in the final year of the undergraudate degree programme.
- Applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree within the last two years.
- Master’s students who have not completed their thesis.
Graduate Internship (Category II)
- Applicants who have completed their master’s degree within the last two years.
- Graudate students who have completed their coursework, not their thesis.
- Students pursuing an advanced degree.

WIPO internships are available in a wide range of areas including:
- Law, Intellectual Property, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology (IT), Project Management, Technical Cooperation, Administration, Marketing, Communications, Translation, and other related disciplines
Internship Benefits
- Interns receive a monthly stipend of CHF 1,645 or CHF 2,170.
