About WHO Global Internship Programme
The global internship program is open to candidates worldwide who hold a valid passport from a WHO member state. The program allows students and recent graduates to gain practical work experience in an international organization and to understand how it operates in the field of public health.

Who can Apply?
- Be a citizen of WHO member states
- Be enrolled in undergraudate, graduate, or postgraduate degree programme
- Recent graduates who completed a degree within the last 18 months
- Academic background in: public health, medicine, social sciences, management, administration, communications, external relations, or relevant fields
- Must be at least 20 years old
- WHO staff members are not eligible to apply
- Must be available to work full time for a minimum of 6 or maximum of 24 weeks
- Must not have previously participated in a WHO internship
