Eligiblity Criteria

  • The iCeMS internship program is accepting applications from all nationals
  • Academic Status: currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a foreign institute
  • Students must have an active enrollment status after completing the internship
  • Demonstrate interest in pursuing a graduate program at Kyoto University
  • Demonstrate strong research interest in material sciences, chemistry, and cell biology
  • Commit to full-time 5 weeks participation from (June 30 – August 6, 2026)

Internship Coverage

The interns will receive the following support:

  • Round-trip airfare coverage
  • On-Campus or Off-Campus accommodation for the program duration
  • One-time stipend of ¥50,000 to cover their living expenses
  • No Registration or application fee required
