Young leaders passionate about international cooperation, cultural exchange, and regional development are invited to apply to the ROK-MEKONG Youth Group Workshop 2026. This fully funded workshop, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea under the ROK-Mekong Cooperation Initiative, invites applications from talented young individuals from the Mekong Countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam) to participate in cultural activities, discussions, educational sessions, and networking opportunities. The program offers participants the opportunity to explore South Korea and gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture and sustainable development. About ROK-Mekong Youth Group Workshop
The 2026 ROK-Mekong Youth Group Workshop is a fully funded short-term program organized and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea under the framework of the ROK-Mekong Cooperation Initiative. The workshop is designed to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation among young people from Korea and the Mekong region through a series of tailored workshops, lectures, cultural visits, and team-building activities.
During the program, participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts, policymakers, and fellow youth leaders while exploring how regional cooperation can contribute to sustainable development and shared prosperity.

Eligiblity Criteria
You must fulfill the following criteria to apply
- Be a citizen of five eligible Mekong countries:
- Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar & Vietnam.
- Korean nationals can also apply.
- University students or graduate students are invitied to submit applications.
- Preference given to applicants with experience in creating digital content for social media platforms.
- Demonstrate leadership potential.
- Show interest in regional development and international cooperation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Participate in all workshop activities.
