Rotary Peace Fellowships 2025-26 | Fully Funded

The Rotary Foundation is inviting applications for the Rotary Peace Fellowships 2025-26! The foundation awards a total number of 130 fully funded fellowships each year to dedicated leaders from all around the world.

The Rotary Fellowship Program offers 50 fellowships for the Master’s degree and 80 fellowships for the certificate program at selected universities. The duration of the Master’s Degree program is 15-24 months whereas for certificate program is 1 year. The fellowship covers all the financial costs including round-trip air travel costs, Tuition Fees, Accommodation/Board, and Field study expenses.

The Fellowship was started in 2002 since then almost 1,700 fellows have been trained and now serving in multiple organizations like NGOs, Government Sector, Research and Education centers, United Nations and the World Bank. Available Fellowships

Master’s Degree Program

The Master’s degree program is offered to candidates who have an undergraduate degree in the related field and have work experience in peace and development. The duration of the master’s degree program is 5 to 24 months with additional two to three months of field study.

Masters Programs:

  • Peace Studies, Public Policy and Social Research
  • Conflict Security & Development
  • International Studies, Conflict Studies

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must have good English communication skills.
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Should possess leadership qualities.
  • Commitment to peace and cross-cultural understanding.
  • At least three years of work experience in peace and development fields.
  • Employees and members of the Rotary Club are not eligible to apply.

Professional Development Certificate Program

The certificate course is offered to applicants holding a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in peace and development. The duration of the certificate program is one year after successful completion the program fellows will be awarded with the postgraduate diploma.

  2. Bahçeşehir University (BAU), Istanbul, Turkey

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have good English communication skills.
  • Hold an Undergraduate degree.
  • Should possess leadership qualities.
  • At least five years of work experience in peace and development fields.
  • Candidate must have a gap between their recent academic degree and the starting date of fellowship for at least three years.
  • They must explain how they will promote peace and how it is linked to the Rotary’s mission.
  • Candidates applying for Makerere University must be African nationals or have work experience in an African organization, community, or any project.
  • Candidates applying for Bahcesehir University should be from North Africa or the Middle East. Moreover, they must have work experience in these regions’ organizations, communities, or projects

Process of Application:

  • Research the curriculum and programs at each of the Rotary Peace Centers. For the Master’s program, you will be asked to rank the two centers you prefer if you meet the eligibility criteria for both programs.
  • Research the program outline of the Rotary Peace Centers in order to be asked to rank the two centers that you prefer to check the eligibility criteria.
  • Learn about the Rotary club’s work within your community and worldwide with the help of Club Finder to find the Rotary or nearest Rotaract club.
  • Go through the application requirements to follow the steps while submitting your online application.
  • Collect all the documents as explained in the ‘documents required’ section below to fulfill the application requirement. Submit them before 15th May without any delay.
