The Ministry of Education, Research, and Youth of the Slovak Republic is offering the Slovakia Government Scholarships 2025 for international students. The scholarships are offered to pursue Undergraduate, Graduate, Post Graduate, and Language preparatory courses.
For the session 2024-25, the Government of the Slovak Republic will award 70 scholarships to students belonging to the eligible countries. The degree programs are available in almost all areas so students belonging to different academic backgrounds can participate in this scholarship program. Eligiblity Criteria
To be eligible for the Slovak scholarships you must fulfill the following criteria:
- Eligible Countries: Applicants from eligible countries can only participate
- Age Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree: 18-26 Years
- Masters Degree: 18-26 Years
- PhD Degree: 23-35 Years
- Required Qualification:
- High school degree for Bachelors programs
- Undergraduate degree for Masters programs
- Master’s degree for a PhD degree program
Available Fields
The scholarships are available in a wide range of academic fields covering Engineering, Architecture, Sciences, Healthcare, Dentistry, ecological and Environmental sciences, technology, and much more.

Scholarship Awards
A total of 70 scholarship awards are available for session 2024-25 of which 67 awards are for Bachelors & Masters programs and 3 Awards are for PhD degree programs.
Scholarship Coverage
The Government of Slovak will provide the following coverage for the scholars:
PhD Degree Program
- A Monthly Stipend of 734 €
- One Time Stipend of 100 € on commencement of classes
- One Time stipend on completion of study 200 €
- A Monthly stipend for a Public University is 240 €
Undergraduate & Masters Degree
- A Monthly Stipend of 400 €
- One Time Stipend of 100 € on commencement of classes
- One Time stipend on completion of study 200 €
- A Monthly stipend for a Public University is 80 €
Language Preparatory Courses
- A Monthly Stipend of 400 €
- One Time Stipend of 100 € on commencement of classes
- A Monthly stipend for a Public University is 80 €
