About World Bank Young Professionals Programme
It’s a flagship leadership development program by the World Bank Group designed to help talented young professionals launch their careers in global development. The program offers participants the opportunity to work on real development projects while gaining experience across different parts of the World Bank. It also provides leadership and technical training, mentorship, coaching, and the opportunity to work with the World Bank. professionals.
The program’s main feature is the rotation system; participants will complete three mandatory eight-month rotations in their primary area of expertise, a cross-institutional rotation, and at least one rotation in a country office.
Who can Apply?
- Be a national of a World Bank Group member country.
- Have completed a graduate-level degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Possess 2-6 years of professional work experience.
- Candidates pursuing a doctorate may count relevant full-time doctoral research toward the experience requirement.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Current World Bank Group employees are not eligible to apply.
