You heard it right—applications are open for the Nairobi Summer School 2025. The Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice in collaboration with key partners is inviting applications from climate activists, practitioners, and advocates worldwide to participate in Cohort V and become a part of an initiative to awaken, equip, and inspire the new generation in Africa to tackle the urgent issue of Climate change. The duration of the NSSCJ Cohort V is 14 days which will take place at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia from 17-30 August 2025. The program will be held completely in the English language, there is no IELTS and application fee requirement for participation in the program. Scholarship Coverage

Mode of Program
The program will be held in a hybrid model both (Virtual and Physical) and is structured in the following ways:
- Online Pre-Training Session: Involved in online pre-training survey
- In-Person Training Session: Attend physical training at Addis Abba University
- Post-Training Session: Become NSSCJ Alumni network and continue growing
Who can Apply?
Applicants meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- Aspiring leaders from all around the world are invited to apply
- Hold an O-Level certificate or equivalent degree
- The age criteria are between 18-35 years
- Excellent English Communication skills
- Have a valid passport (For Foreign Applicants)
