To all the outstanding international students wishing to pursue their higher education in Europe, we have some exciting news for you: the application window for one of the most anticipated “Slovakia Scholarships for Talented Students” for the academic year 2025-26.
The scholarship is a joint initiative of The Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, the European Structural Investment Fund (ESIF), and the State budget of the Slovak Republic, offers an incredible opportunity to the talented international students from all around the world to pursue full-time Undergraduate, Masters, or Joint Bachelor and Masters degrees in one of the participating higher education institute (HEI) in Slovakia. Scholarships are available in the selected fields that support the development of Slovakia.
A total of 195 scholarships will be granted under this program, in which 150 scholarships are allocated for the Bachelor’s, Joint Bachelor’s, and Master’s, and 45 scholarships for the second level of master studies. Scholarship Objective
The objective of the Slovak Republic scholarship is to attract outstanding international students to study in Slovakia, promote its higher education, and foster academic, scientific, and cultural exchange with other countries.
Duration of Scholarship
The scholarship support is offered for the following duration
- Master’s Degree: 2 Years
- Bachelor’s, Joint (Bachelor’s & Master’s): 3 Years
Scholarship Slots:
Bachelor’s, Joint (Bachelor’s, Master’s)
- A total of 150 scholarships will be granted, of which 100 scholarships are funded by the ESIF and 50 scholarships are funded by the State budget
Master Studies
- A total of 45 scholarships will be awarded, of which 30 scholarships are funded by ESIF and 15 scholarships are funded by the state budget
Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship offers generous support, which includes:
- A monthly stipend of €500 for the duration of the program
- Full tuition fee waiver at Slovak public institutes
- Health insurance coverage
- Visa assistance for the non-eu nationals
- The scholarship is valued up to €15,000

Who can Apply?
- The scholarship is open to all nationals except Slovak Citizens.

- For Undergraudate studies, applicants must hold a high school degree
- For Master’s studies, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree
- Applicants must not reside in Slovakia
- Secure admission at a selected Slovak public university
- There is no upper age limit
