Call for applications for the Ghent University Master Mind Scholarship 2026-27. The Master Mind Scholarship is a prestigious program funded by the government of Flanders that offers academically outstanding students from around the world the opportunity to pursue full-time master’s degree programs in Flanders and Brussels. Ghent University is among the participating institutions in this scholarship program. The scholarship is valued at €10,000 per academic year to support your living expenses during your stay.

 

The goal of the Master Mind Scholarship program is to promote Flemish higher education institutions and foster academic collaboration between Belgium and participating countries. There is no separate application for the scholarship; applicants cannot apply directly. They will be nominated by the master’s program coordinator at Ghent University. To be considered, you must apply for admission to the master’s program at the university, and the institute will recommend top students for the Flemish university scholarship.

Scholarship Coverage

The Master Mind scholarship offers the following support to scholars:

  • The scholarship offers a grant of €10,225 per academic year.
  • Full tuition fee waiver
  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • International students are allowed to work 20 hours per week.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The Master mind scholarship accepts applications from all nationals
  • Applicants must have excellent academic records
  • Have completed a bachelor’s degree in an institution outside Belgium
  • Demonstrate English Profiency through IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English
  • Students currently enrolled at Flemish institutes are not eligible to apply

How to Apply for Ghent Master Mind Scholarship 2026-27?

Applicants interested in the scholarship need to apply for the English-taught master’s degree program at Ghent University, complete the online application form via GHENT University offical application portal, upload all required documents, and submit. Once your admission application is submitted, the Master’s programme coordinator of the institute will recommend you to the international relations office for a scholarship. The scholarship result is announced in June 2026.
