Internship Office Background
The internship is hosted at the UNDP Seoul Policy Center (UPSC). Let us give you a brief background for those who are not familiar with UPSC. It was established in 2011 and represents the United Nations Development Programme in Korea. The center helps share Korea’s knowledge and experience through various knowledge-sharing programmes to support sustainable development and partnership between other countries.
The UPSC is focused on the following four areas:
- Governance and gender equality
- Development Cooperation
- Private sector engages
- Green recovery and environmental sustainability
The center helps find solutions to the development challenges in the above focus areas. The internship at USPC allows students and recent graduates to gain first-hand work experience while contributing to USPC’s work and gaining exposure to the UNDP’s work.
Internship benefits

- A monthly stipend of KRW 1,169,728 per monthÂ

Who can Apply?
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the UNDP internship:
- Calling applications from all nationalities
- Both Male/Female applicants are invited to apply
- Students currently enrolled in the final year of undergraudate degree program
- Students enrolled in a Master’s degree or higher
- Enrolled in a professional training programme
- Recent graduates with a university degree
- Academic background in the fields of economics, finance, Public/Business Administration, or equivalent
Required Skills
- Profiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator would be a plus
- Fluency in English or the Korean language
- Knowledge of any other UN offical language would be an assett

Interns’ Responsibilities
Interns will be assisting with the following tasks:
- Organize and prepare the financial documents
- Manage the office calendars, publications, and emails
- Assist with office administrative procedures
- Support with basic translation
- Help in managing office equipments
- Respond to the queries
- Help is organizing conferences, workshops & travel arrangements
- Draft documents and reports
- Assist with any other administrative tasks as needed
