GIST University Graduate Scholarship 2027 | Study in South Korea – Fully Funded

The institute offers the GIST Graduate Scholarship 2027 for talented students to pursue full-time graduate study and research in engineering, science, technology, and related fields. Admissions are open for the Master’s, PhD, and integrated Master’s-PhD program, with studies commencing in March 2026. All students who secure admission to the graduate program will be considered for the scholarship and receive extensive support, including full tuition, a monthly allowance, a meal allowance, health insurance, and more. Who can Apply?

Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:

  • GIST welcomes applications from all nationalities
  • Korean nationals are not eligible to apply under the international admission route
  • Have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent before enrolling at GIST
  • Students already enrolled in a degree program must complete their program by the first week of January
  • Meet the institute’s graduate admission requirements
  • Provide 2 recommendation letters
  • Meet all application requirements
  • Must meet the English language requirement

English Language Requirements

GIST requires an English proficiency test score from applicants who don’t qualify for a language exemption. The minimum scores listed by the institute are:

  • TOEFL iBT: 80
  • TOEFL PBT: 550
  • IELTS Academic: 6.5
  • TOEIC: 750
  • New TEPS: 285

The institution also allows conditional admission in certain cases if applicants submit an official certificate that their degree was taught in English
