Who can Apply?
Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:
- GIST welcomes applications from all nationalities
- Korean nationals are not eligible to apply under the international admission route
- Have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent before enrolling at GIST
- Students already enrolled in a degree program must complete their program by the first week of January
- Meet the institute’s graduate admission requirements
- Provide 2 recommendation letters
- Meet all application requirements
- Must meet the English language requirement
English Language Requirements
GIST requires an English proficiency test score from applicants who don’t qualify for a language exemption. The minimum scores listed by the institute are:
- TOEFL iBT: 80
- TOEFL PBT: 550
- IELTS Academic: 6.5
- TOEIC: 750
- New TEPS: 285
The institution also allows conditional admission in certain cases if applicants submit an official certificate that their degree was taught in English
