Call for applications for the UNU International Youth Summit 2026 in Malaysia. The Global Youth Network and the United Nations University are organizing a fully funded international conference that brings together emerging leaders from around the world who are passionate about driving change in their communities. The summit welcomes students, graduates, innovators, entrepreneurs, professionals, and changemakers who are committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. There are no country restrictions; the summit is open to all nationalities. The 4-day immersive summit equips young leaders with the skills, knowledge, and networks to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
The summit is a premier platform for emerging leaders and features interactive workshops, networking sessions, keynote sessions, panel discussions, cultural activities, a $1,000 seed grant opportunity, and an exclusive trip to the Asia Pacific University (APU). Fully funded delegates will receive generous support covering round-trip airfare, meals, forum access, accommodation, a UNU certificate, and more. No IELTS is required. Eligiblity Criteria
- Summit is open to all nationalities
- Calling students, graduates, entrepreneurs, young professionals, researchers, society representatives, and changemakers from all backgrounds who are passionate about contributing to sustainable development
- Aged between 17 and 50 years old at the time of application
- No English profiency test requirement
- Commit to full-time participation during the event dates
- Demonstrate leadership potential
