To all the international students seeking internships in Japan, Applications are now open to apply for the Kyoto University iCeMS Internship 2025. Kyoto University Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Science (iCeMS) is seeking talented students from all around the world to join their fully funded internship in Japan and have an opportunity to gain hands-on research experience while working in the state-of-the-art labs.
The institute is inviting applications from students currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and who have an interest in joining graduate school at Kyoto University. This is your chance to elevate your research experience in an international work environment.
The duration of the internship is one month, which will run from July 1, 2025 – August 7, 2025 at the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS), Kyoto University Institute for Advanced Study (KUIAS), Kyoto, Japan. Eligibility Criteria
- The internship is accepting applications from all nationals
- Students in bachelor’s degrees enrolled in foreign institutes
- Students must have at least 2 semesters remaining after completing the internship
- Candidates interested in joining graduate school at Kyoto University
- Must have excellent academic standing
- Students in the fields of chemistry, mathematics, cell biology, and chemical biology will be preferred
Internship Coverage
The iCeMS internship will provide the following support to the students:
- Economy class round trip travel tickets
- Accommodation for the duration of the program
- A one-time stipend of ¥50,000 to bear living expenses
